The annual popular performance "Mansai in Cerulean Tower" will be held for the 24th time this year. The opening commentary by Mansai Nomura himself is a specialty of this performance. In the relaxed atmosphere unique to a small theater, he will look back on his activities over the year and comment on the program. Following the two small dance pieces, the kyogen plays are "Sumi-nuri" (starring Taichiro Nomura), in which a feudal lord who had gone to the capital for a lawsuit returns to his country and says goodbye to a woman who has become familiar with him. She cries, but the Taro Kaja realizes that it is a fake cry and tries to somehow let the master know that the woman is lying, and "Bo-shibari" (starring Mansai Nomura), in which the master finds out that two of his servants have been stealing and drinking sake while he is away, and leaves with Taro Kaja on a pole and Jiro Kaja tied behind his back, but the two use their wits to cooperate and drink sake together, causing a ruckus.
