Inokashira Park
A metropolitan park spanning Musashino City and Mitaka City
This metropolitan park, which straddles Musashino City and Mitaka City, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2017. Every spring, it is crowded with many cherry blossom viewers.
On weekends, an art market is held, featuring outdoor stalls, street performers, artists, and more.

Inokashira Benzaiten
The patron saint of music and the arts
Located on an island in the middle of Inokashira Pond, he is the guardian deity of music and performing arts, and was widely worshipped by the people of Edo as the water god of the Kanda River water source.
This Benzaiten is a secret Buddha statue that is only displayed to the public once every 12 years (in the year of the snake).

Ochanomizu
The spring water beloved by Tokugawa Ieyasu
Long ago, surrounded by dense trees on the western edge of Inokashira Pond, there was once a groundwater well.
It is said that when Tokugawa Ieyasu came to this region for falconry, he loved the quality of this spring water and often made tea there, and since then this water has been called "Ochanomizu."

Park Street
A popular spot that is always crowded with visitors
Kichijoji Street runs north and south through Musashino City, and the section near Inokashira Park is called Koen-dori. This street is home to a famous skewered meat restaurant that has been in business for 80 years, and is a popular spot that is always bustling with customers.

Musashino Hachiman Shrine
Hachiman Shrine, famous as the guardian deity of Kichijoji
It is said that in 789, Sakanoue no Tamuramaro enshrined a branch of the deity of Usa Hachiman Taisha Shrine here.
After the Great Fire of Meireki, Kichijoji, which was located outside the Koishikawa Aqueduct, was moved to what is now Komagome, and the people of the temple town who lost their homes in the fire were ordered to relocate. When Kichijoji Village was established in this area, it is said that they worshiped Musashino Hachiman Shrine as its guardian deity.

Sun Road
This shopping street has an arcade that stretches for about 300 meters, stretching north to south from the north exit of Kichijoji Station to Itsukaichi Kaido, and is one of the busiest shopping streets in Kichijoji.
Here, numbers are written on the walls of buildings and signs, and the "Kichijoji location system" is used, which indicates the distance from the station in meters.

Inokashira Park Zoo (Main Park)
More than 200 species of animals are kept
Its area is almost one-third of Inokashira Park. It is divided into the "Main Zoo" which has a zoo and a sculpture museum, and the "Aquatic Life Park" which has an aquatic life museum, and together they house over 200 species of animals. The sculpture garden in the park features the Atelier Hall used by Kitamura Seibo (1884-1987), the creator of the Nagasaki Peace Memorial Statue, to create the statue, exhibition halls A and B, and an outdoor exhibit of about 250 sculptures, all of which are very impressive.
