Overseas accommodation booking sites do not provide receipts (invoices) that are valid in Japan.
* Receipts can only be issued at the hotel if the reservation is paid for on-site.
(If you made a reservation with advance payment: the hotel cannot issue a receipt)
*Major overseas sites (Booking.com, agoda, Expedia, Trip.com, etc.)
