Forest Scallops

This menu was inspired by an exhibition by artist Yasuhiro Suzuki, who focuses on the ordinary objects around us and creates works by reinterpreting small "realizations" and "discoveries" from his own unique perspective.
"Scallops in a forest?"
The whole product is based on the image of a forest, and the king oyster mushrooms are likened to scallops. A "real scallop" is also included for comparison, and as you eat it you can have fun trying to figure out which is the king oyster mushroom and which is the scallop. This allows those who eat it to experience "realization" and "discovery," which are the themes of the "Suzuki Yasuhiro Exhibition."
Both the king oyster mushrooms and scallops are sauteed in butter.
It's delicious as an appetizer or for kids to enjoy.
