The exhibition includes "Rete Kagami" (a collection of beautiful imported textiles made during the Edo period) belonging to feudal lords, famous tea caddies and "Shifuku" (a collection of cloth coverings), Chinese paintings mounted with "Meibutsu-re", "Rete Tansu" (a chest of drawers) belonging to wealthy merchants, and "Kowatari Sarasa" (ancient chintz) that accompanies tea utensils (some exhibits will be changed during the exhibition period). This exhibition will introduce Japan's unique culture of appreciating old textiles and the influence of imported dyeing and weaving that created it.

The theme of this special exhibition is "wrapping". Garlic butter is placed on potato puree and scallops, then wrapped in pastry phyllo and baked. This dish allows you to enjoy the flavor of moist potatoes and scallops, and the exquisite texture of the crispy baked pastry phyllo.

Onahama Port's local dish, "Sanma Popoyaki" mixed with spring onions is stir-fried, shredded, and finished with a cream sauce. This highly original dish allows you to enjoy the marriage of the "Popoyaki" - which is more like a hamburger steak than a sanma - with cream pasta seasoned with dashi soy sauce as a secret ingredient.

Fresh apples from Fukushima are compote in red wine and paired with fromage blanc mousse. You can enjoy it with caramel sauce if you like.
