Founded around 1912 (Meiji 45), the company is currently run by third-generation owner Hayashi Koson and his daughter Yuko, who continue the traditions. While focusing on white porcelain and celadon, they also produce wheel-turned and molded tableware, tea utensils, and flower vases, and have many fans who are particularly drawn to the delicate shapes of bone china from the past. Their pieces, which are characterized by their elegant and beautiful forms and noble colors, are also popular in high-end restaurants. Their custom-made products are also based on delicate and subtle customization.
