Founded in 1865, this long-established Kyoto confectionery store is the official supplier of traditional sweets to Toyokuni Shrine, the former Rokujo Imperial Palace, and other places. Starting with their famous Daibutsu Mochi, which is made using the same method as back then, they use high-quality ingredients, water, and the natural seasonal cycles of the four seasons. Taking advantage of the rich land of Kyoto, where Kyoto sweets can flourish, they make sweets with sincerity without destroying tradition.
