"Shinkanuchar" celebrated its 15th anniversary on Saturday, February 17, 2024.
To express our gratitude for the group's continued activities over the past 15 years, we will be holding a one-night-only commemorative event.
In addition to an Eisa collaboration with special guest Claudia Oshiro, past members will also gather to liven up the event!

Hotel Taiko Team "Shinkanuchar"
The Eisa Taiko team is made up of employees of Miyakojima TOKYU HOTEL & Resorts. They perform at events in the hotel, mainly during spring break, Golden Week, and summer vacation, in the hopes that guests who choose Miyakojima as their travel destination will be able to experience and enjoy the performing arts of Okinawa and Miyakojima up close.
Special guest: Claudia Oshiro
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she is a second generation Okinawan. She participated as a chorus member when Alfredo Casero, a famous singer in Argentina, covered THE BOOM's "Shimauta" in Japanese. This song became a big hit in Argentina, and that's how Claudia Oshiro met Kazufumi Miyazawa.
After studying Okinawan folk songs in Okinawa, she released her first album "Claudia" produced by Kazushi Miyazawa in 2007. She currently lives and works in Tokyo.

Shinkanuchar's history
On February 17, 2009, seven employees formed the "Tokyu Taiko Team."
When we first started, we held events at the barbecue garden.
We enjoyed the event over dinner.
