Osaka Castle
Osaka Castle: a historic site of turmoil
Located in the heart of Osaka, the castle tower is open to the public as an observation deck and a facility for displaying historical materials.
The vast park grounds also include Osaka Castle Hall, the multi-purpose ground Taiyo no Hiroba, a softball field, an outdoor music hall, and a rugby and soccer field.

Tsutenkaku
The spirit of Naniwa "Tsutenkaku"
Tsutenkaku is an observation tower that is a symbol of Naniwa. It was named Tsutenkaku because it means "a tall building that leads to the heavens." It is famous for Billiken-san, a god who is said to bring good luck to those who stroke the soles of his feet.

Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan
One of the world's largest aquariums
The new experience area opened on March 13, 2013.
One of the world's largest aquariums, recreating the natural environment surrounding the Pacific Ocean.
The aquarium's most popular attraction is the gigantic "Pacific Ocean" tank, where whale sharks and moray eels swim leisurely, and the "Fish Passage/Aqua Gate" tunnel tank, where tropical fish swim.

Tempozan Harbor Village
A place that will make your day full of fun
A comprehensive leisure spot in the bay area centered around the world's largest aquarium, Kaiyukan.
If you're visiting Osaka for the first time, you should definitely visit the Tempozan Marketplace, where you can enjoy gourmet food and shopping, the Osaka Cruise on a sailing tourist boat, and the Santa Maria sightseeing boat.

A representative dining and entertainment district in Kita, Osaka
The largest entertainment district in Kita, Osaka. A shopping street stretching east from Umeda on the Hankyu Railway side, it is lined with restaurants, bars, snack bars, karaoke, game centers, and other spots for nightlife.
There are many trendsetting stores here, and it's always bustling. It's a major entertainment district where Ohatsutenjin Shopping Street and Hankyu Higashinakadori Shopping Street intersect.

Ohatsutenjin Shrine
The place where Kanematsu Monzaemon's "The Love Suicides at Sonezaki" was written
During the Genroku period, the shrine is famous for the double suicide of the prostitutes Ohatsu and Tokubei that occurred in its guardian forest, and for being the inspiration for Chikamatsu Monzaemon's masterpiece "The Love Suicides at Sonezaki."
Although the temple grounds are located in the busy Umeda area, they are enveloped in a tranquil atmosphere. Even on weekdays, you can see businessmen passing by with their hands together in prayer.

Tenman Tenjin Hanjotei
A rakugo-only theater will be revived in Kansai for the first time in 60 years since the end of the war.
Tenma Tenjin Hanjotei was established on the grounds of Osaka Tenmangu Shrine with the aim of passing on Kamigata Rakugo, a traditional culture of the Kamigata region and a source of pride for Osakans. The Kamigata Rakugo Association, Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street, and others raised donations from citizens and established a small venue called Tenma Tenjin Hanjotei. This is the first time in 60 years since the end of the war that a fixed venue dedicated to Rakugo (a venue with daily performances) has been revived in the Kansai region. Currently, you can enjoy authentic vaudeville performances, and the venue is thriving as a new Osaka attraction.

Water bus (Aqualiner)
Tour the seasonal beauty of Osaka's Okawa River
The Aqua-Liner Water Bus is a sightseeing boat that allows you to explore Osaka from the water.
On the "Osaka Castle and Nakanoshima Tour" course, announcements are made on the boat and you can see sights such as the Mint Bureau, Central Public Hall, and Osaka Castle. Along the way, you can also see the historic bridges that were built over the Okawa River, such as Tenjinbashi, Tenmabashi, and Ginbashi.

Osaka City Central Public Hall
An artistic space inherited by the modern era
Osaka City Central Public Hall, with its striking red bricks and surrounded by the greenery and water of Nakanoshima, Osaka, is a retro building used as a venue for culture, art, and social activities, and is one of the symbols of Osaka City along with Osaka Castle.

Osaka Museum of History
Dialogue with history, considering the present and future
Osaka Museum of History opened in 2001 as a spot where visitors can experience and deepen their understanding of the "History of Naniwa" based on Osaka's historical and cultural heritage.
Inside the 10-story building, you can see a full-scale reconstruction of the Daigokuden Hall of Naniwa Palace as well as actual underground remains from the Asuka period.
