"Haikyu!!" by Haruichi Furudate is a monumental sports manga that began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2012 and gained popularity for its passionate youth drama of high school students who are devoted to volleyball. The series concluded its eight-and-a-half-year serialization in July 2020, and the total number of copies of all 45 volumes of the manga has exceeded 60 million. A TV anime series was broadcast on the Mainichi Broadcasting System and TBS affiliates from 2014, and the fourth season of the series was produced by December 2020. "Haikyu!! The Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump 2024" will be released in February 2024.
