Shibuya x Hawaii: Satisfying the Five Senses

Shibuya Ward and the city of Honolulu, Hawaii, signed a sister city agreement in May 2024. This event, which is based on the desire to let you experience this new connection, will have a theme of "high-quality Hawaiian" and will feature hula dance shows, Hawaiian music stages, workshops such as Hawaiian art and hula classes, as well as a buffet featuring popular Hawaiian dishes, allowing you to spend a special time filled with the charm of Hawaii.

Hula Dance Show

Part 1: Hula dance show & live ukulele performance
Part 2: Hula dance show & live Hawaiian music performance

The stage will be decorated with beautiful hula dancing, powerful Kanehula (male hula), and live Hawaiian music.

Workshop

Experience Hawaiian culture

Participation in the workshop can be reserved in advance or on the day. The special Hawaiian quilting exhibition by Yaeko Chikui, owner of Monstera Leaf, is a must-see.

A one-day special buffet featuring popular Hawaiian dishes

The buffet prepared for this event will feature popular Hawaiian dishes.
Enjoy the hotel's gourmet cuisine, including fragrant garlic shrimp made with plenty of garlic, carefully grilled huli huli chicken that locks in the flavor, and dynamic steaks served with BBQ sauce.
