Launch of gluten-free, plant-based "rice flour cookies"

TOKYU HOTELS & RESORTS CO., LTD. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Jun Murai) will begin selling gluten-free, plant-based (※2) Rice Flour Cookie Assortment at 34 hotels (※1) it operates from Friday, December 8, 2023.

This product is a gluten-free, plant-based cookie made with domestically produced rice flour, and does not contain wheat flour, dairy products, eggs, or other animal ingredients. From the manufacturing of the cookies to the process of finishing them into gift items, we do it in a factory that only uses plant-based ingredients and is gluten-free, so it can be enjoyed safely by people who avoid wheat flour and animal ingredients.
The sugar used is beet sugar from Hokkaido. There are three flavors: plain, chocolate, and sesame. The rice flour flavor is mild, but the three flavors are distinct, and we paid particular attention to the texture. The cookies are packaged by flavor and come in original design tins for gift-giving, making them perfect for souvenirs or presents.

TOKYU HOTELS & Resorts will continue to explore food that will be enjoyed by so-called "food minorities," including developing products that will please those with dietary concerns, and will promote "food diversity."
