Palo Alto Insight's AI human resource development course "AI Business Design Basic Course" launched
Aiming to improve customer experience and reform operations through digital transformation

TOKYU HOTELS & RESORTS CO., LTD. (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO Jun Murai) will launch the "AI Business Design Basics Course" this spring as part of its human resource development efforts. The course was developed by Palo Alto Insight LLC (California, USA; CEO Tomochika Ishizumi) and 20 selected employees will participate in the AI education program.

In the hotel industry, the provision of personalized services and efficient operation management are required as customer expectations continue to rise, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic. Against this backdrop, there is a growing demand for "digital transformation (DX) talent" who can use AI and data analysis to improve customer experience and automate and streamline operations. Talent who can develop new services using technology and make data-driven decisions are key to strengthening competitiveness and promoting innovation across the industry.

The "AI Business Design Basic Course," which will be introduced as a human resource development course, is an online learning material developed by Palo Alto Insight, an AI development company headquartered in Silicon Valley. This course teaches not only basic knowledge about AI and DX, but also the mindset required of AI human resources who incorporate it into business to create innovation, and aims to acquire a wide range of knowledge necessary for the application of AI technology, from the basic principles of AI business design to data analysis, machine learning, and improving customer service using AI.

By introducing this AI human resources development course, TOKYU HOTELS & Resorts will enable its employees to acquire the skills necessary for the digital age and promote digital transformation across the entire company. In addition, the company will continue to introduce and expand a variety of educational programs to provide high-added-value services and aim to be the hotel management company of choice for customers and many other stakeholders.


AI Business Design Basic Course Program Overview

It consists of watching video instructional materials and real-time sessions with Palo Alto Insight specialists.
The final deliverable will be an AI business design report produced and presented by the team.
