TOKYU HOTELS & Resorts signs "Japan Heritage Official Partnership" with the Agency for Cultural Affairs
The only hotel operator to have signed the agreement among the 32 businesses and organizations.
We will promote Japanese culture and traditions through the historical charm and characteristics of the region.

TOKYU HOTELS & RESORTS CO., LTD. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Jun Murai; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is pleased to announce that on September 27, 2024, it has entered into the "Japan Heritage Official Partnership" promoted by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
Through this partnership, the Agency for Cultural Affairs and our company will cooperate with each other to further promote regional revitalization across Japan.

Japan Heritage is a project run by the Agency for Cultural Affairs that certifies (※) Japanese culture, traditions, and the historical appeal of a region in the form of a cohesive "story." The goal is to revitalize the region and promote tourism by having the region take the lead in comprehensively developing and utilizing attractive tangible and intangible cultural properties, and promoting them both domestically and internationally.

The "Japan Heritage Official Partner" agreement that we have recently concluded is an initiative that will lead to the revitalization of regions across Japan through mutual cooperation between the Agency for Cultural Affairs and companies and organizations. By highlighting experiences that have been handed down through generations and are rooted in traditional culture and local customs, and effectively communicating their appeal, we will not only promote the attraction of domestic and international visitors, but also foster civic pride and have the great significance of nurturing the next generation of people who will carry on the appeal of the region.

Our company has always operated hotels with deep roots in the local communities where they are located, with the purpose of "creating fulfilling moments with people and towns." By becoming an Official Partner of Japan Heritage, we will further accelerate our efforts and, as a domestic hotel operator, will provide and promote the unique charms of each region to guests visiting from both Japan and abroad.
