TOKYU HOTELS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Jun Murai) is pleased to announce that due to the termination of the lease agreement, Tokyo Toranomon TOKYU REI HOTEL will be closed on March 31, 2023 and Akasaka EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU will be closed on August 31, 2023.

Tokyo Toranomon TOKYU REI HOTEL has been open for 46 years since it opened in March 1976 as "Atagoyama Tokyu Inn", and Akasaka EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU has been open as "Akasaka TOKYU HOTEL" in September 1969 for 53 years, respectively, as a base for business and tourism, and as a place of gathering and relaxation in the Shimbashi, Toranomon and Akasaka areas, respectively. We have continued to operate while valuing our connection with the local community.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our customers and all those involved for their long-term patronage.

In addition, TOKYU HOTELS opened Yonezawa EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU (franchise agreement) in April this year and THE HOTEL HIGASHIYAMA BY KYOTO TOKYU HOTEL in July this year.
In addition, we plan to open a new large-scale hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo in the spring of 2023 in KICHIJOJI EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU on October 28 this year, BELLUSTAR TOKYO (Bellest Tokyo Tokyo) and HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU (Hotel Groove Shinjuku) in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and at the gateway to Sapporo Susukino in the fall of the same year.
Going forward, we will continue to actively promote the opening of stores that will become "travel destinations" that appeal to the global market, which is expected to revive, and the next generation of guests, welcome a diverse range of customers, and build a chain network with high brand power and profitability.
