Based on our Sustainability Policy, which consists of three sustainability goals (visions we aim to achieve) and six key sustainability themes (themes that we will focus on among social issues), we have established the Action Plan 2022, which outlines more concrete actions to achieve the SDGs, with an eye toward both the with-COVID and post-COVID eras.

Decarbonized and recycling-oriented society
action plan
-
By actively participating in Green Coin activities, we support the "Children's Forest" forest conservation project around the world. In addition, by supporting the "TOKYU HOTELS Green Coin Forest" in Tanbayama Village, Yamanashi, we contribute to reducing the environmental impact and protect Tokyo's water source. And, whenever we stay at a hotel, we always put in a Green Coin.
-
By proactively carrying out Green Card activities, we will minimize the need to change sheets and towels, thereby contributing to reducing the burden on the global environment.

We will also switch our electricity contracts at other stores to renewable energy, contributing to reducing CO2 emissions.

In order to reduce and recycle food waste, we will continue to innovate in our processes from purchase to disposal, implement food loss prevention measures, and work to eliminate single-use plastics, thereby contributing to the realization of a recycling-oriented society.

Safety and Security
-
In the event of a major earthquake or other disaster, we will act with the utmost priority on ensuring the safety of the lives and property of our guests and employees, and in the spirit of mutual assistance, we will make every effort to accommodate those unable to return home and to resume hotel operations as soon as possible.
-
We will protect safety and security by preparing manuals, acquiring specialized knowledge, and undergoing various training to prevent the three major risks facing hotels: fire, food poisoning, and information leaks.
Comfort
-
We respect diversity and strive to provide universal and barrier-free rooms, as well as vegetarian and vegan menus, so that our guests can use our hotel comfortably. We also strive to prevent passive smoking.

Human Resource Development
-
We will create a rewarding workplace where employees can continue to work comfortably by eliminating harassment, etc. We will encourage self-improvement through training that allows employees to improve themselves, and we will develop hoteliers and specialists with a wealth of hospitality through various training courses, cooking and hospitality contests, etc., to provide comfortable hospitality to our customers.
Corporate Governance and Compliance
-
We aim to maintain and operate a management execution structure and internal control system, and to operate an efficient, healthy, and highly transparent business. We also comply with laws, social norms, social ethics such as responsible procurement, and company rules, and act honestly and fairly. We also seek to cooperate with partnerships within the group and with external companies.
TOKYU HOTELS has appointed sustainability leaders and sub-leaders at each hotel it operates, and is carrying out a variety of activities that take advantage of the benefits of the hotel chain as well as the characteristics of each hotel and the area in which it is located.
Going forward, we will share this "Action Plan 2022" with all our hotels and work toward achieving the SDGs.
