The base of this whiskey is the malt liquor "Komagatake" from Hombo Shuzo, which has won numerous awards in competitions both in Japan and overseas. It was distilled at the Mars Komagatake Distillery in 2015, bottled in new American white oak barrels, and aged for nine years. The liquor was quietly aged at the distillery, surrounded by majestic natural forests at the foot of Mount Kiso-Komagatake in the Central Alps, blessed with a cool climate and high-quality water.

The single malt single cask "Goto" is a whiskey characterized by a balance of delicate aromas reminiscent of red berry fruits, dry figs, and Assam tea, as well as the sweetness of grains and the lingering aroma of wood. The aroma stands out even when mixed with soda, so it can be enjoyed as a pairing with a meal, or straight or on the rocks after a meal.
