Opposite the reception is "Untitled," a work by Toko Shinoda, a leading female artist of ink-wash abstract painting, which was displayed in a suite room in the old hotel, and opposite, on the back of the reception, is "Yutaka," a new work that Shinoda painted in conjunction with the reconstruction of the hotel. The two opposing works symbolize the connection between the old and new hotels and welcome guests.
