Accommodation Tax
Starting in April 2019, Kanazawa City will begin levying an accommodation tax.
This is a non-statutory special purpose tax that is levied on guests staying at accommodations to cover the costs of measures to promote sustainable tourism in harmony with civic life, while enhancing the unique attractions of Kanazawa, such as its history, traditions, and culture. Per person per night
・For accommodation fees of less than 20,000 yen: 200 yen
・For accommodation fees of 20,000 yen or more, 500 yen
