An AED has been installed in the 1st floor lobby in case of an emergency.
[What is an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)]
An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is a medical device that delivers an electric shock to restore the heart to normal when ventricular fibrillation occurs, a condition in which the ventricles of the heart spasm irregularly and are unable to pump blood. Since July 2004, AEDs have been approved for use by the general public as well as medical professionals.
