Terms of Use

In order to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, our hotel has established the following rules of use in accordance with Article 13 of the Accommodation Contract. If you do not abide by these rules of use, we will refuse you accommodation or use of the hotel's facilities in accordance with Article 9 of the Accommodation Contract. Please be aware that you may be held liable for any damages incurred in the event of an accident resulting from your failure to abide by these rules of use.

Article 1 Safety and security matters

Please refer to the evacuation route map displayed on the inside of each guest room door.

Please refrain from bringing into the rooms any fireplaces such as heaters or cooking appliances, or any other items that may cause a fire.

Smoking is strictly prohibited outside of designated smoking rooms and areas. Please refrain from any other actions that may cause a fire. Please note that if smoking (including electronic cigarettes) or bringing in cigarette butts into a non-smoking room is confirmed, we may charge you cleaning fees for bedding, curtains, wallpaper, etc., and any other repair costs.

Placing wet clothes or towels on a light fixture or hanging them on a lampshade to dry can cause a fire. This is extremely dangerous, so please do not do this under any circumstances.

During your stay, please make sure that your room is locked whenever you leave it.

Please lock the door from the inside and use the latch, especially when you are sleeping. Even if there is a knock on the door, do not open it carelessly, but check through the door scope. If you suspect a suspicious person, please contact the front desk.

Please note that if you leave the tap open while filling the bathtub or filling the sink with water, for example because you take a nap or for any other reason, the hot water or water will overflow and cause a serious water leakage accident.

Please refrain from meeting with outside guests in your guest room.

We strictly prohibit anyone other than registered guests from staying at the hotel.

If you are driving, please park in the designated parking lot.

When a Guest of the Hotel uses the car park, the Hotel shall not be responsible for the custody of the vehicle, regardless of whether the key to the vehicle has been deposited with the Hotel.

Article 2 Handling of valuables and lost property

Please leave your cash and valuables in the in-room safe or at the front desk during your stay. When using the in-room safe, please lock the door yourself. Please note that we cannot compensate for any damages incurred due to loss, damage, or theft of cash or valuables that are not covered by the above procedure.

If a guest's baggage or belongings are left behind at the hotel after check-out, the hotel will store them for seven days, including the day they are found, and then turn them over to the nearest police station. However, minor items (daily life items, etc.) that are deemed to have been abandoned by the guest will be disposed of after being stored for three months, including the day they were acquired. In addition, if the item left behind is food or difficult to store, the hotel may dispose of it.

Article 3 Payment

Payment can be made in Japanese currency or by traveler's checks, accommodation vouchers, credit cards, etc. accepted by the hotel. Please note that we cannot exchange currency for anyone other than guests.

If you wish to change the number of nights you have planned, please contact the front desk in advance. If you wish to extend your stay, please pay the fees up to that point and any additional scheduled items.

If you wish to sign for bills at restaurants, bars, etc. within the hotel, please be sure to present your accommodation card or room key. Please note that we may refuse to accept bills without signing for bills.

Please note that we may ask you to pay a deposit upon arrival. Also, during your stay, if the front desk presents you with an account slip, please pay at the front desk each time.

We will not be able to pay for shopping expenses, tickets, taxi fares, postage stamps, luggage shipping, etc.

A service charge may be added to the accommodation fee and food and beverage fee. Tips to staff will not be accepted.

If you make a phone call from your room, a facility usage fee will be charged.

Article 4 Prohibitions

1

The following actions are prohibited:

(1) Bringing into the Hotel any of the following items that may cause inconvenience to other Guests:

A. All animals and pets, including dogs, cats, and small birds (excluding assistance dogs as defined by law, and as otherwise specified by the Hotel)
(Pets allowed based on the accommodation agreement)
B. Explosives, volatile oils, and other dangerous products that are easily ignited or flammable
C. Items that emit a foul or strong odor
D. Guns and swords without a license
E. Significantly large amounts of luggage and items
F. Other items that may cause inconvenience to other customers
Other items the possession of which is prohibited by law

(2) Gambling or any other conduct that is disruptive to public morals or peace within the hotel, or that is a nuisance or offense to other guests.
(3) Hanging anything in or near a window that may mar the appearance of the Hotel.
(4) Using the rooms or lobby for purposes other than accommodation, such as conducting business, without prior permission from the Hotel.
(5) Distributing advertising or promotional materials or selling items within the hotel without permission.
(6) Using the hotel facilities and equipment in places or for purposes other than those for which they are intended, or using them in a way that significantly impairs their current condition.
(7) Taking photographs or other images taken on the hotel premises and distributing them publicly for commercial purposes without permission.
(8) Leaving belongings in the hallways or lobby.
(9) Going into business establishments wearing nightwear, pajamas, yukata, slippers, etc.
(10) Entering hotel employee areas, emergency stairs, rooftops, porches, machine rooms, etc., except in an emergency or unavoidable circumstances.
(11) Delivery of food and beverages from outside the hotel (however, delivery of food and beverages from restaurants and other establishments affiliated with the hotel is permitted).
(12) Damage to, contamination of, or loss of the hotel buildings, furniture, fixtures or other items.
(13) Any act of posting information that damages the credibility of the Hotel or brings disrepute to the Hotel.
If the hotel deems any content to be inappropriate or in violation of laws and regulations, it will delete it without prior notice.
In addition, please refrain from posting any content that may slander or libel third parties.
(14) Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) anywhere other than smoking rooms and designated smoking areas.
(15) Any other acts prohibited by law.

If any of the prohibited acts listed in the preceding paragraph causes damage to the Hotel, you may be required to pay an appropriate amount of compensation.

Article 5 Cancellation of Hotel Contract

We ask that you refrain from using the hotel in the following cases. Furthermore, if such a fact becomes apparent after a reservation or contract has been made, the reservation or contract will be cancelled at that point in time. However, this does not mean that the hotel will refuse accommodation in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Inns and Hotels Act.

(1) When the hotel guest is a patient of a specific infectious disease as provided for in Article 4-2, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Inns and Hotels Act
(2) If any of the following applies to the hotel guest:
(a) An organized crime group as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 2 of the Law Concerning Prevention of Unjust Activities by Organized Crime Group Members (Law No. 77 of 1991) (hereinafter referred to as "Organized Crime Group").
(hereinafter referred to as "gang members"), members of organized crime groups as defined in Article 2, paragraph 6 of the same Act (hereinafter referred to as "gang members"), and those affiliated with companies or organizations related to organized crime groups, etc.
Antisocial forces
(b) Corporations or other organizations whose business activities are controlled by organized crime groups or members of organized crime groups
(c) A corporation with an executive officer who is a member of an anti-social force such as an organized crime group.
(3) When a Hotel User makes intimidating or violent demands regarding his/her accommodation, or makes demands that exceed the reasonable scope of the burden
(However, this does not include cases where the guest requests the removal of social barriers pursuant to Article 7, Paragraph 2 or Article 8, Paragraph 2 of the Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities.)
(4) If the Guest wishes to discontinue the provision of accommodation services to other guests because such provision would impose an excessive burden on the Hotel
When a request that is likely to seriously impede the business is repeated, as stipulated in Article 5-6 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Inns and Hotels Act.

Article 6 Ecological Activities

Article 7 Personal Information

Our hotel will handle personal information provided by customers appropriately in accordance with our hotel privacy policy.

Article 8 Changes to Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are standard terms and conditions set out in the Civil Code, and we may change any provision of these Terms of Use in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code when it is in the general interest of guests or when it is deemed necessary and appropriate to make such changes.

If these Terms of Use are changed, the revised provisions will be posted on the website and the revised provisions will apply from the effective date specified at the time of posting. If these Terms of Use are changed, the changes will be notified by appropriate means.

Terms and Conditions

Scope of application

Article 1

All accommodation contracts and related agreements to be concluded between this hotel and the guest to be accommodated shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions, and any matters not provided for in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by laws and regulations (meaning laws and regulations or those based on laws and regulations; the same applies hereinafter) or generally accepted practices.

In cases in which the Hotel has entered into a special contract with the Guest insofar as such special contract does not violate laws, regulations and generally accepted practices, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the special contract shall take precedence over the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Application for accommodation contract

Article 2

A person who intends to apply for an Accommodation Contract with the Hotel must provide the Hotel with the following particulars:
(1) Names and number of guests staying
(2) Date of stay and expected time of arrival
(3) Accommodation fees (in principle, the basic accommodation fees set forth in Schedule 1)
(4) a. Applicant's name and contact details
b. The person paying the accommodation fee and their contact details
(5) Any other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel.

In cases where a Guest requests, during his/her stay, to extend his/her stay beyond the date specified in subparagraph 2 of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall treat it as if he/she had applied for a new Accommodation Contract at the time such request was made.

Establishment of accommodation contract, etc.

Article 3

An Accommodation Contract will be deemed to have been concluded when the Hotel accepts the application as stipulated in the preceding Article.

When an accommodation contract has been concluded in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, you will be required to pay an application fee set by the Hotel, up to the accommodation fee for your stay (if it exceeds 3 days, then 3 days), by the date specified by the Hotel.

The application fee shall first be applied to the accommodation fee finally payable by the Guest, and in the event of the occurrence of a situation to which the provisions of Article 8 or Article 21 apply, it shall be applied in the order of penalty charges and compensation, and the remainder, if any, shall be refunded at the time of payment of the accommodation fee as provided for in Article 15.

If the application fee stipulated in paragraph 2 is not paid by the date specified by the Hotel pursuant to the provisions of the same paragraph, the Accommodation Contract shall become void. However, this shall only apply if the Hotel has so notified the Guest when specifying the due date for payment of the application fee.

Request for cooperation in infection prevention measures at facilities

Article 4

Our hotel reserves the right to request the cooperation of guests seeking accommodation in accordance with Article 4-2, Paragraph 1 of the Inns and Hotels Act (Act No. 138 of 1948).

Special agreement that does not require payment of application fee

Article 5

Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 3 Paragraph 2, the Hotel may enter into a special contract requiring no accommodation deposit after the Contract has been concluded.

If the Hotel has not requested the payment of the application fee stipulated in Article 3 Paragraph 2 and/or has not specified the due date for the payment of the application fee when accepting your application for an Accommodation Contract, it will be treated as if the Hotel has accepted a special contract as stipulated in the preceding Paragraph.

Refusal to enter into an accommodation contract

Article 6

The Hotel may not accept the conclusion of an Accommodation Contract in the following cases. However, this paragraph does not mean that the Hotel may refuse accommodation in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Inns and Hotels Act.
(1) When the application for accommodation does not conform with these terms and conditions.
(2) When the Hotel is fully booked and no rooms are available.
(3) The person seeking lodging is deemed to be acting in a manner that violates the laws, public order, or good morals in relation to his/her lodging.

(4) If the person seeking accommodation is a patient of a specific infectious disease as defined in Article 4-2, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Inns and Hotels Act (hereinafter referred to as "Patients of a specific infectious disease")

Article 7

If the Hotel does not comply with the request to enter into an Accommodation Contract in accordance with the preceding Article, a Guest seeking accommodation may request an explanation from the Hotel for the reason.

Guest's Right to Cancel Accommodation Contract

Article 8

A Guest may cancel the Accommodation Contract by notifying the Hotel.

In the event that the Guest cancels the Accommodation Contract in whole or in part due to reasons attributable to the Guest (except in the case where the Hotel has specified the due date of the application fee and requested payment pursuant to the provisions of Article 3 Paragraph 2 and the Guest has cancelled the Accommodation Contract prior to such payment), the Hotel shall charge a penalty as listed in Attached Table 2. However, in the event that the Hotel has accepted a special contract as set forth in Article 5 Paragraph 1, this shall apply only when the Hotel has notified the Guest of the obligation to pay the penalty when the Guest cancels the Accommodation Contract, in accepting such special contract.

If a Guest does not arrive by 8 p.m. on the day of the stay without contacting the Hotel (or by two hours after the expected arrival time if the Guest has stated the expected arrival time in advance), the Hotel may consider the accommodation contract to have been cancelled by the Guest.

Our hotel's right to cancel the contract

Article 9

The Hotel may cancel the Accommodation Contract in the following cases. However, this does not mean that the Hotel may refuse accommodation in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Inns and Hotels Act.
(1) When the Guest is deemed liable to conduct himself in a manner that will violate the provisions of the law, the public order or good morals in regard to his accommodation,
Or when it is deemed that such an act has been committed.
(2) When the guest is a patient of a specific infectious disease.
(3) When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to natural disasters, malfunction of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.
(4) When the Guest is deemed to be in danger of affecting other guests due to excessive intoxication or other reasons.
When a person behaves in a manner that is extremely disruptive.
(5) When the Guest fails to observe any prohibited acts stipulated in the Hotel Usage Regulations.
(6) When smoking outside a designated smoking room or smoking area.
(7) Smoking in bed, tampering with fire-fighting equipment, and other prohibited acts as stipulated in the Hotel's Terms of Use (including acts necessary for fire prevention purposes)

When the Hotel has cancelled the Accommodation Contract in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall not charge the Guest for any accommodation services etc. which he/she has not yet received.

Explanation of accommodation contract cancellation

Article 10

When the Hotel has cancelled the Accommodation Contract in accordance with the preceding Article, the Guest may request the Hotel to explain the reason therefor.

Accommodation Registration

Article 11

The Guest will be required to register the following particulars at the Hotel front desk on the day of accommodation:
(1) Name, address and contact details of the Guest;
(2) For foreigners who do not have an address in Japan, nationality, passport number, (copy or scanned copy of passport)
(3) Any other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel.

If the Guest intends to pay the charges stipulated in Article 15 by any means other than currency, such as traveller's cheques, accommodation coupons or credit card, these shall be presented in advance at the time of registration stipulated in the preceding paragraph.

Room Occupancy Time

Article 12

Please check with the front desk to confirm the times during which guests may occupy the hotel rooms.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may permit the Guest to occupy the room outside the hours specified in the same paragraph. In this case, the following additional fees will be charged.
(1) Excessive stays up to 3 p.m. will be charged at 1/4 of the basic accommodation fee.
(2) Until 6 p.m., 1/2 of the basic accommodation fee
(3) After 6 p.m., the full basic accommodation fee will be charged.

Observance of the rules of use

Article 13

Guests must observe the Hotel Usage Regulations separately established by the Hotel while on the premises of the Hotel.

Business hours

Article 14

The opening hours of the main facilities of our hotel are as follows. Detailed opening hours of other facilities will be announced on our website and in various places.
(1) Front desk, cashier, etc. service hours

The hours stated in the preceding paragraph may be subject to temporary change due to unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you by appropriate means.

Payment of fees

Article 15

The breakdown of the accommodation fees, etc. to be paid by the Guest shall be as set forth in Schedule 1.

Payment of accommodation fees, etc. as stipulated in the preceding paragraph shall be made at the front desk at the time of the Guest's arrival or departure or upon request by the Hotel in Japanese currency or by any other means acceptable to the Hotel, such as traveller's cheques, accommodation coupons, credit cards or other means acceptable to the Hotel.

Accommodation charges will be charged even if the Guest does not stay in the accommodation facility after the Hotel has provided it to the Guest and made it available for use.

Our hotel's responsibilities

Article 16

When the Hotel has caused damage to a Guest in the fulfillment or nonfulfillment of the Accommodation Contract and related agreements, the Hotel shall compensate such Guest up to a maximum of 150,000 yen, except in cases where such damage has been caused by willful intent or gross negligence on the part of the Hotel, provided, however, that this shall not apply when such damage has been caused by reasons not attributable to the Hotel.

In order to deal with the unlikely event of a fire or other accident, our hotel is covered by hotel liability insurance.

Handling when contracted rooms cannot be provided

Article 17

When the Hotel is unable to provide a contracted room to a Guest, it will arrange accommodation of the same standard elsewhere for the Guest with the Guest's consent.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if the Hotel is unable to arrange alternative accommodations for the Guest, the Hotel shall pay the Guest a compensation fee equivalent to the breach of contract charges, and such compensation fee shall serve as compensation for damages. However, if the Hotel is unable to provide a room due to reasons beyond the Hotel's control, the Hotel shall not pay such compensation fee.

Handling of deposited items

Article 18

When loss, breakage or other damage occurs to goods, cash or valuables deposited at the front desk by the guest, the hotel shall compensate for such damage, except in cases where such loss or breakage occurs due to acts of God. However, in the case of cash and valuables, if the hotel requests a declaration of their type and value and the guest fails to do so, the hotel shall compensate for such damage up to a maximum of 150,000 yen.

The Hotel shall compensate for damages incurred when loss, breakage or other damage occurs due to the Hotel's intention or negligence regarding goods, cash or valuables brought into the Hotel by the Guest but not deposited at the Front Desk. However, for items whose type and value have not been reported in advance by the Guest, the Hotel shall compensate for such damages up to a maximum of 150,000 yen, except in cases where the Hotel is guilty of intention or gross negligence.

Storage of guests' baggage or personal effects

Article 19

When the baggage of the Guest is brought into the Hotel prior to his/her stay, the Hotel will be responsible for storing it only when such request has been approved in advance and will hand it over to the Guest at the front desk at the time of his/her check-in.

The liability of the Hotel regarding the custody of the Guest's baggage and belongings in the cases of the preceding two Paragraphs shall be in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 1 of the preceding Article in the case of Paragraph 1, and with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the same Article in the case of Paragraph 2.

Parking Responsibility

Article 20

When a guest uses the hotel's parking lot or a contracted parking lot, the hotel is merely lending the space and is not responsible for the management of the vehicle, regardless of whether the key to the vehicle has been deposited with the hotel. However, if the hotel causes damage through intentional or negligent acts on the part of the hotel in managing the parking lot, the hotel will be liable for compensation.

Liability of the Guest

Article 21

When the Hotel suffers damage caused through intention or negligence on the part of the Guest, the Guest will compensate the Hotel for the damage.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Article 23

These terms and conditions are standard terms and conditions set out in the Civil Code and we may change any of the provisions hereof in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code when it is in the general interest of guests or when it is deemed necessary and appropriate to make such changes.

The percentage is the ratio of the penalty to the accommodation fee (including service charges, consumption tax, etc.) at the time of booking.

If a separate penalty is set for accommodation packages, etc., the published amount will be collected as the penalty.

If the number of contracted days is shortened, a penalty for one day (the first day) will be charged regardless of the number of days shortened.

If a contract is terminated for part of a group (10 or more people), no penalty will be charged for the number of people that is 10 (rounded up to the nearest whole number) of guests staying 10 days prior to the stay (or the day of acceptance if the booking is accepted after that day).

Cancellations made through individual travel agencies will be subject to the regulations of the travel agency in which you made the reservation.

Rules on Use

This hotel has set out the following rules on use based on Article 13 of the Terms and Conditions of Accommodation Contract in order to ensure that you can spend your time at the Hotel safely and comfortably. If these rules on use are not observed, under Article 9 of the Terms and Conditions of Acommodation Contract, you will not be allowed to lodge in the Hotel or use the facilities of the Hotel. In addition, please be aware that you may be liable for damages if an accident occurs due to your failure to follow these rules.

Article 1
Safety and Security Matters

Please confirm the emergency escape routes on the map that is posted on the door inside each room.

2

Please refrain from bringing your own heating or cooking devices or other items that may cause a fire into the room.

3

Smoking is strictly prohibited except in designated smoking rooms and smoking areas.
Please do not engage in any other acts that may cause a fire. Please note that if smoking (including electronic cigarettes,etc.) or cigarette butts, etc. are confirmed in the non-smoking rooms, cleaning expenses for bedding, curtains, wallpaper, etc. and other expenses for repair, etc. may be charged.

If wet clothes or towels are placed on lighting equipment or lampshades to dry them, it may cause a fire. Please do not do this because it is very dangerous.

Please make sure to lock the door when you leave your room during your stay.

Please lock the door and secure the inside chain, particularly when you sleep. Should there be a knock at the door, check to see who it is by using the peephole before opening the door. If you think it is a suspicious person, please call the front desk.

When filling the bathtub or sink, take care not to doze off and inadvertently let the tub overflow and cause a serious water leakage.

Please refrain from meeting any visitor in the guest room.

9

We strictly prohibit persons other than registered guests.

10

Please park your car in the designated parking lot.

11

When any Hotel guest uses the parking lot, we will not be liable for the custody of the car, regardless of whether the car key has been deposited with us.

Article 2
Handling of Valuables and Lost Articles

1

Please leave your cash and valuables in the room safe or at the front desk during your stay.
When using the in-room safe, please set the lock to the door by yourself. Please note that we will not compensate for any loss, damage or theft of cash or valuables when the above procedures are not followed.

If your hand baggage or belongings have been left behind at the Hotel after your check-out, they will be kept at the Hotel for seven (7) days from the day they are found (inclusive), and then delivered to the nearest police station. However, minor item s (daily necessities, etc.) that are considered to have been abandoned by the customer will be disposed of after they are stored for three (3) months from the date they are found (inclusive). In addition, we may dispose of items left behind if they are food items or items that are difficult to store or manage.

Article 3
Payment

Charges shall be paid in Japanese currency or by traveler's checks, hotel vouchers, credit card, etc. approved by the Hotel. Additionally, please note that we cannot exchange money for persons other than guests.

If you would like to change the number of days you plan to stay, please contact the front desk staff in advance. If you would like to extend your stay, please pay for the previous charges and the charges for your additional stay.

Please show your registration card or room key when you charge a bill for a restaurant or bar, etc. in the Hotel to your account. We may refuse to allow you to charge a bill to your account with only your signature.

Please note that we may ask for a deposit upon arrival. Additionally, if the front desk staff present a bill during your stay, please pay it at the front desk each time.

We will not make payment on your behalf for shopping, tickets, taxis, postage, or freight charges.

6

Service charge may be included in the room charges and food and beverage charges.
Therefore, giving tips to our staff is not necessary.

7

When you use the phone from your room, a facility charge will be added to your bill.

Article 4
Prohibited Matters

1

The following acts are prohibited.

  (1) Bringing any of the following items that might disturb other guests in the hotel.

   a)Animals and pets, including dogs, cats and birds (except assistance dogs as required by law, and pets permitted
     by the Agreement on Accommodation with Pets as separately provided by the Hotel).
   b)Ignitable or flammable gunpowder, volatile oils and dangerous products.
   c)Anything that gives off an offensive or strong odor.
   d)Unlicensed firearms and swords.
   e)Extremely large volumes of baggage and articles.
   f)Any other items that might disturb other guests.
   g)Other belongings prohibited by laws and regulations.

  (2) Gambling, acts that disturb public morals or order, acts that cause a nuisance or discomfort to other guests
    within the Hotel.
  (3) Hanging things on the window of the room that would ruin the appearance of the Hotel,or displaying them by the
    window.
  (4) Using the Hotel for purposes other than lodging, e.g., conducting sales activities in your room or the lobby without
    permission from the Hotel.
  (5) Distribution of advertisements and promotional materials and sale of goods in the Hotel without permission.
  (6) Using facilities and equipment in the Hotel in places and for purposes other than those specified, and using such
    facilities and equipment in a manner that significantly impairs their current condition.
  (7) Disclosing photos, etc. taken on the Hotel premises to the public for business purposes without permission.
  (8) Leaving belongings unattended in hallways and the robby.
  (9) Entering the business facilities of the Hotel wearing night wear, pajamas, yukata or slippers.
  (10) Entering areas for the Hotel employees, the emergency staircase, roof, penthouse, machine room, etc.,
     except when unavoidable or in cases of emergency.
  (11) Ordering food and beverages for delivery from outside of the Hotel (however,restaurants affiliated with the Hotel
     are acceptable).
  (12) Damaging, contaminating, or causing loss to the Hotel buildings, furniture,equipment, or other hotel items.
  (13) Damaging the reputation of the Hotel or transmitting information that may dishonor the Hotel.
     If posting information violates laws and regulations and the Hotel judges it inappropriate, the Hotel will
     delete the information without consent.
     In addition,please do not write anything that will defame a third party.
  (14) Smoking in areas other than smoking rooms and smoking areas (including electronic cigarettes, etc.).
  (15) Other acts prohibited by laws and regulations.

In the event of damage caused to the Hotel as a result of any of the prohibited acts described in the preceding paragraph,the Hotel may request that you compensate the Hotel for the actual amount of the damage

Article 5
Cancellation of Accommodation Contract

Please refrain from using the Hotel in the following cases.Moreover, if such fact is found after the conclusion of the reservation/contract, the reservation/contract shall be cancelled at that time. However, this paragraph shall not mean that the Hotel may refuse your stay at the Hotel for other reasons not listed in Article 5 of the Hotel Business Act.
  

(1) The user of the Hotel is a patient of a specified infectious disease, as stipulated in Paragraph 1, Item (2)
  of Article 4-2 of the Hotel Business Act.
(2) When the user of the Hotel falls under any of the following categories:
  a) Antisocial forces, such as an organized crime group listed under Article 2, Item (2) of the Act on
    Prevention of Unfair Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act 77, 1991) (hereinafter referred to as an
    " Organized Crime Group ")"), a member of such a group under Article 2, Item (6) of the same Act
    (hereinafter referred to as "Organized Crime Group Member"), or an individual related to a company or a
    group connected to an Organized Crime Group.
  b) A corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by an Organized Crime Group
    or an Organized Crime Group Member.
  c) A corporation that has any officer who falls under the category of Antisocial Forces,
    such as an Organized Crime Group.
(3) The user of the Hotel makes coerciveor violent demands, or demands an unreasonable burden in connection
  with an accommodation (provided, however,that this shall not apply if the guest requests removal of a social
  barrier in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Article 7 or Paragraph 2 of Article 8 of the Act for Eliminating
  Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities).
(4) The user of the Hotel repeats carrying out an act listed under the provisions of Articles 5-6 of the Enforcement
  Regulations of the Hotel Business Act in the form of a request to the Hotel for which the burden involved in the
  implementation thereof is too onerous and which may significantly impede the provision of accommodation services
  to other guests.

Article 6
Environmental Conservation Activities

1

In order to conserve resources, we ask for your cooperation in saving electricity and water.

Article 7
Personal Information

1

The Hotel will appropriately handle the personal information you provide, in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Hotel.

Article 8
Change to Rules on Use

1

These Rules on Use fall under the standard terms and conditions set forth in the Civil Code, and the provisions of these Rules on Use will be changed in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code when it conforms to the general interests of guests, or when it is considered necessary or reasonable to change them.

2

If these Rules on Use are changed, the changed provisions will be posted on the website and the changed provisions will apply from the effective date specified at the time of posting. When these Rules on Use are changed, we will publish the details of such change in an appropriate manner.

Terms and Conditions of Accommodation Contract

Article 1
Scope of Application

1

The Accommodation Contract and related agreements to be concluded between the Hotel and the Guest shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions, and matters not provided herein shall be governed by laws and regulations (laws and regulations or those based on laws and regulations ; the same shall apply hereinafter) or generally accepted practices.

2

If the Hotel has entered into special agreements with the Guest, insofar as such special agreements do not contradict laws and regulations and generally accepted practices, the special agreements shall prevail, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 2
Application for Accommodation Contract

1

A Guest who intends to apply for an Accommodation Contract with the Hotel shall notify the Hotel of the following information.
 (1) Name and number of Guests
 (2) Date of stay and estimated time of arrival
 (3) Accommodation Charges (As a general rule, the Basic Accommodation Charges set forth in Schedule 1 will apply.)
 (4) a. Applicant's name and contact information
   b. Payer of the Accommodation Charges and the contact information
 (5) Other matters considered necessary by the Hotel

If, during the stay, the Guest requests to extend his/her stay beyond the date specified in item (2) of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall treat such request as an application for a new Accommodation Contract made at the time of his/her request.

Article 3
Conclusion of Accommodation Contract, etc.

1

An Accommodation Contract shall be concluded when the Hotel has accepted the application set forth in the preceding article.

When an Accommodation Contract is concluded pursuant to the provision of the preceding paragraph, by the due date designated by the Hotel, the Guest is requested to pay an accommodation deposit set by the Hotel, which shall not exceed the Accommodation Charges covering the entire length of his/her stay (3 days when the period of stay exceeds 3 days).

The deposit shall be used: first, for the Accommodation Charges finally payable by the Guest; second, for cancellation charges under Article 8 ; and third, for compensation under Article 21, as applicable. The remainder, if any, shall be refunded at the time of payment for accommodation as stated in Article 15.

If the Guest fails to pay the deposit set forth in Paragraph 2 by the date specified by the Hotel in accordance with the provisions of the same paragraph, the Accommodation Contract shall cease to be effective. Provided, however, that the same shall apply only when the Hotel has notified the Guest to that effect in designating the due date of the deposit.

Article 4
Request for cooperation in infection prevention measures in facilities

The Hotel may request the cooperation of a Guest seeking accommodation at the Hotel, in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 1 of Article 4-2 of the Hotel Business Act (Act No. 138, 1948).

Article 5
Special Contract Requiring No Accommodation Deposit

1

Notwithstanding the provision of Paragraph 2 of Article 3, the Hotel may enter into a special contract requiring no payment of the accommodation deposit stipulated in the same paragraph after the conclusion of the contract.

If the Hotel does not request payment of the accommodation deposit prescribed in Paragraph 2 of Article 3 or does not designate the due date of said deposit at the time of accepting the application for an Accommodation Contract, it shall constitute the fact that the Hotel has agreed to the special contract prescribed in the preceding paragraph.

Article 6
Refusal of Accommodation Contract

The Hotel may refuse to conclude an Accommodation Contract in any of the following cases. However, this paragraph does not mean that the Hotel may refuse your stay at the Hotel for other reasons not listed in Article 5 of the Hotel Business Act.

  (1) The application for accommodation does not conform to these Terms and Conditions.
  (2) The Hotel is fully booked and there is no vacancy.
  (3) A Guest seeking accommodation is considered liable to conduct himself/herself in
    a manner that violates laws and regulations, or to engage in acts against public
    order or good morals in regard to his/her accommodation.
  (4) A Guest seeking accommodation is a patient etc. with a specified infectious disease
    prescribed in Paragraph 1, Item ( 2 ) of Article 4-2 , of the Hotel Business Act
    (hereinafter referred to as “ Patients etc. with Specified Infectious Diseases”)
  (5) A Guest seeking accommodation is an antisocial force, such as an organized crime
    group specified in Paragraph 2 of Article 2 of the Act on Prevention of Unfair Acts
    by Organized Crime Group Members (Act 77, 1991) (hereinafter referred to as
    "Organized Crime Group"), a member of an organized crime group specified in
    Paragraph 6 of Article 2 of the same Act (hereinafter referred to as "Organized
    Crime Group Member", or a n individual related to a company or a group connected
    to an organized crime group.
  (6) A Guest seeking accommodation is a corporation or other organization whose
    business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or an organized crime
    group member.
  (7) A Guest seeking accommodation is a corporation that has any officer who falls under
    the category of Antisocial Forces, such as an organized crime group.
  (8) A Guest seeking accommodation makes coercive or violent d emands, or places an
    unreasonable burden on the Hotel in connection with the accommodation provided,
    however, that this shall not apply to cases where the Guest seeking accommodation
    requests the removal of a social barrier in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Article 7
    or Paragraph 2 of Article 8 of Act for Eliminating Discrimination against Persons
    with Disabilities (Act No.65,2016.) Hereinafter referred to as the " Act for
    Eliminating Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities")
  (9) The Guest seeking accommodation carries out acts listed under the provisions of
    Article 5-6 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Hotel Business Act in the form
    of a request to the Hotel for which the burden involved in the implementation
    thereof is onerous and which may significantly impede the provision of
    accommodation services to other guests.
  (10) The Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to natural disaster, facility
    failure, or other unavoidable causes.
  (11) The Guest seeking accommodation is heavily intoxicated and is likely to be a
    nuisance to other guests, or uses speech or conduct that is a nuisance to other guests
    (in accordance with prefectural rules or of a city or a special ward in the case of a
    city or a special ward having establish ed a healt h center)

Article 7
Explanation of Refusal to Execute Accommodation Contract

A Guest seeking accommodation may request that the Hotel explain the reason(s) for a refusal by the Hotel to enter into an Accommodation Contract pursuant to the preceding article.

Article 8
Guest’s Right to Cancel Accommodation Contract

1

The Guest is entitled to cancel the Accommodation Contract by notifying the Hotel.

2

If the Guest has cancelled the Accommodation Contract in whole or in part due to reasons attributable to the Guest (except when the Hotel has requested payment of the deposit by designating the due date in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of Article 3 and the Guest has cancelled the Accommodation Contract before making such payment), the Hotel shall impose a cancellation charge as set forth in Schedule 2. However, when the Hotel has agreed to a special contract as prescribed in Paragraph 1 of Article 5, this shall apply only when the Hotel has notified the Guest of its obli gation to pay cancellation charges in the event the Guest cancels the Accommodation Contract.

The Hotel may deem the Guest to have cancelled the Accommodation Contract when he/she does not arrive by 08:00 p.m. (if the estimated time of arrival is known in advance, the time that is two hours after that time) on the day of his/her stay without an advance notice to the Hotel.

Article 9
Hotel’s Right to Cancel Accommodation Contract

1

The Hotel may cancel the Accommodation Contract in any of the following cases.
However, this paragraph does not mean that the Hotel may refuse accommodation in cases other than those stipulated in Article 5 of the Hotel Business Act.

(1) The Guest is considered liable to conduct himself/herself in a manner that violates
  laws and regulations, or to engage in acts against public order or good morals in regard
  to his/her accommodation, or is considered to have conducted himself/herself in such
  manner or en gaged in such acts.
(2) The Guest is Patients etc. with Specified Infectious Diseases.
(3) The Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to natural disaster, facility failure,
  or other unavoidable causes.
(4) It is considered that the Guest is likely to affect other guests due to being heavily
  intoxicated, etc. Or the Guest is behaving in such a way as to be a nuisance to other
  guests.
(5) The Guest fails to observe prohibited matters specified in the Rules on Use prescribed
  by the Hotel.
(6) The Guest smokes in areas other than designated smoking rooms or smoking areas.
(7) The Guest does not refrain from prohibited actions, such as smoking in bed, vandalism
  of fire fighting equipment and other prohibited matters stipulated in the Rules on Use
  prescribed by the Hotel (limited to those necessary for fire prevention).
(8) The Guest is found to be an antisocial force, such as an organized crime group, a
  member of an organized crime group, an individual related to a company or a group
  connected to an organized crime group.
(9) The Guest is a corporation or other organization whose business activities are
  controlled by an organized crime group or an organized crime group member.
(10) The Guest is a corporation that has any officer who falls under the ca tegory of an
  organized crime group member.
(11) The Guest makes coercive violent demands, or demands an unreasonable burden in
  connection with the accommodation (provided, however, that this shall not apply if
  the Guest requests removal of a social barrier in accordance with Paragraph 2 of
  Article 7 or Paragraph 2 of Article 8 of the Act for Eliminating Discrimination against
  Persons with Disabilities.).
12) The user of the Hotel carries out an act listed under the provisions of Article 5-6 of
  the Enforcement Regulations of the Hotel Business Act in the form of a request to the
  Hotel for which the burden involved in the implementation thereof is onerous and
  which may significantly impede the provision of accommodation services to other guests.

When the Hotel has cancelled the Accommodation Contract in accordance with the provision of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall not charge the Guest for any services he/she has yet to receive.

Article 10
Explanation of Termination of Accommoda tion Contract

The Guest may request the Hotel to explain the reason(s) when the Hotel has cancelled the Accommodation Contract pursuant to the preceding article.

Article 11
Registration

1

The Guest shall register the following particulars at the front desk of the Hotel on the day of his/her stay.
(1) Name, address and contact information of the Guest(s).
(2) Nationality and passport number (copy of passport or scanned copy) in the case of foreigners with no address in Japan.
(3) Other matters considered necessary by the Hotel

When the Guest intends to pay his/her accommodation charges prescribed in Article 15 by any means other than Japanese currency, such as traveler's checks, hotel vouchers or credit card, such means shall be presented in advance at the time of registration prescribed in the preceding paragraph.

Article 12
Occupancy Hours of Guest Rooms

1

Please check with the front desk for the hours that the Guest can use the room of the Hotel.

2

Notwithstanding the provision of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may permit the Guest to occupy the guest room outside the hours set forth in the same paragraph. In such case, the following extra charges shall apply.
 (1) 1/4 of the basic room charge until 3:00 p.m.
 (2) 1/2 of the basic room charge until 6:00 p.m.
 (3) The basic room charge in full after 6:00 p.m.

Article 13
Compliance with Rules on Use

The Guest shall observe the Rules on Use separately set forth by the Hotel within the premises of the Hotel.

Article 14
Business hours

1

The business hours of the Hotel's main facilities, etc. shall be as follows, and the details of the business hours of other facilities, etc. shall be provided on the website and notices displayed in each facility, etc.
 (1) Service hours at the front desk, cashier, etc.
   a) Curfew: Not applicable
   b) Front desk services: 24 hours

Service hours for food and beverages (facilities): Information will be provided on the website and at each facility.

The hours set forth in the preceding paragraph may be changed temporarily if necessary and unavoidable. In such case, we will notify you in an appropriate manner.

Article 15
Payment of Accommodation Charges

1

The breakdown of the Accommodation Charges, etc. to be paid by the Guest is as shown in Schedule 1.

Payment of the Accommodation Charges, etc. under the preceding paragraph shall be made at the front desk at the time of the Guest's arrival or departure or upon request by the Hotel, in Japanese currency or by other means permitted by the Hotel, such as traveler's checks, hotel vouchers or credit card.

Accommodation Charges shall be paid even if the Guest does not stay after the Hotel has furnished and made available his/her accommodation.

Article 16
Responsibility of the Hotel

1

The Hotel shall compensate the Guest up to a maximum of 150,000 yen for damage caused to the Guest in the course of, or due to default under, the Accommodation
Contract and related contracts, except where the damage has been caused due to the Hotel’s intentional act or gross negligence. However, the same shall not apply when such damage has been caused for reasons not attributable to the Hotel.

The Hotel is covered by Hotel Liability Insurance to deal with a possible fire.

Article 17
Handling When Unable to Provide Contracted Room

1

If the Hotel is unable to provide the Guest with the contracted guest room, the Hotel shall, upon obtaining the consent of the Guest, arrange for another hotel under the same conditions as much as possible.

Notwithstanding the provision of the preceding paragraph, if the Hotel is unable to introduce another hotel, the Hotel shall pay the Guest a compensation fee equivalent to the cancellation charges and the compensation fee shall be treated as compensation for damage. However, when the Hotel cannot provide the guest room due to reasons not attributable to the Hotel, the Hotel will not pay the compensation fee.

Article 18
Handling of Deposited Articles, etc.

1

The Hotel shall compensate the Guest for loss, damage, etc. in respect of items, cash or valuables deposited by the Guest at the front desk, except when such loss, damage, etc. is due to force majeure. However, for cash and valuables, when the Hotel has requested the Guest to report its kind and value and the Guest has failed to do so, the Hotel shall compensate the Guest up to a maximum of 150,000 yen.

The Hotel shall compensate the Guest for loss, damage, etc. caused due to the Hotel’s intentional act or negligence with respect to items, cash or valuables brought into the Hotel by the Guest but not deposited at the front desk. However, for articles whose nature and value have not been reported in advance by the Guest, the Hotel shall compensate the Guest up to a maximum of 150,000 yen, except in the case of damage caused due to the Hotel’s intentional act or gross negligence.

Article 19
Custody of Baggage and Belongings of Guest

When the baggage of the Guest arrives at the Hotel prior to his/her stay, the Hotel shall store it responsibly only when the Hotel has agreed to the same prior to its arrival and shall hand it over to the Guest at the front desk at the time of check in.

If the hand baggage or belongings of the Guest have been left behind at the Hotel after check out, they will be kept at the Hotel for seven (7) days from the day they are found (inclusive), and then delivered to the nearest police station. However, minor items (daily necessities, etc.) that are considered to have been abandoned by the customer will be disposed of after they are stored for three (3) months from the date they are found (inclusive). In addition, we may dispose of items left behind if they are food items or items that are difficult to store or manage.

The Hotel's liability for the custody of the Guest's baggage and belongings in the case of the preceding two paragraphs shall be in accordance with the provision of Paragraph 1 of the preceding article in the case of Paragraph 1, and in accordance with the provision of Paragraph 2 of the same article in the case of Paragraph 2.

Article 20
Responsibility for Parking

When the Guest uses the parking lot of the Hotel or the contracted parking lot, the Hotel shall lend a space and shall not be liable for the custody of the car, regardless of whether the car key has been deposited with the Hotel. However, the Hotel shall be liable for any damage caused due to the Hotel’shall intentional act or negligence in the management of the parking lot.

Article 21
Liability of the Guest

The Guest shall compensate the Hotel for damage caused to the Hotel due to the Guest’s intentional act or negligence.

Article 22
Personal Information

The Hotel will appropriately handle the personal information you provide, in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Hotel.

Article 23
Change to these Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions fall under the standard terms and conditions set forth in the Civil Code, and the provisions of these Terms and Conditions will be changed in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code when it conforms to the general interests of guests, or when it is considered necessary or reasonable to change them.

2

If these Terms and Conditions are changed, the changed provisions will be posted on the website and the changed provisions will apply from the effective date specified at the time of posting. When these Terms and Conditions are changed, we will publish the details of such change in an appropriate manner.

If the Guest makes a reservation before the change of these Terms and Conditions and the date of accommodation falls on or after the date of the change of these Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions as of the date of the accommodation shall apply.

The percentages signify the rate of the cancellation charge to the room charge at the time of reservation (including service charge and taxes).

2

In case of cancellation of an accommodation package, for which a separate penalty fee has been set, the cancellation charge will be calculated based on the displayed amount.

3

When the number of days contracted is shortened, a cancellation charge for one (1) day (the first day) shall be collected, regardless of the number of days by which the stay is shortened.

4

In the event of cancellation of the contract with respect to a portion of a group of guests (10 people or more), no cancellation charges will be charged for the number of guests equivalent to 10% of the number of guests staying, if the cancellation request is received 10 days prior to the date of the stay (if the request is received after that date, the date of
acceptance of the request) (any fraction shall be rounded up).
