Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, guests are quietly welcomed into a sophisticated Japanese-modern atmosphere, with light, water, greenery, and art creating a stylish and relaxing hotel experience. Whether you are staying in for a stay or an active one, you can enjoy a special time here.
Arrival
With Hie Shrine on your right, as you walk up the hill, you will see the elegant eaves of the hotel entrance peeking out to welcome you.
(Main entrance on the 3rd floor)
As you enter through the entrance and proceed to the reception exclusively for guests, you will come across an exhibition of works by Toko Shinoda, a leading figure in ink-wash abstract painting and one of Japan's leading female artists. The work "Yutaka" displayed behind the counter was painted by Shinoda when she was 97 years old at the time of the hotel's reconstruction. The work "Untitled" displayed opposite, which was inherited from the old hotel, symbolizes the connection between the old and new hotels.
The sophisticated Japanese modern space, with its shoji screens and other features, creates a relaxing atmosphere.
