Information on "CO2 Zero MICE®" plans
Achieve virtually zero CO2 emissions from electricity used at events and conferences
The "CO2 Zero MICE® Plan" is a service that allows you to replace the electricity used at the venue with renewable energy when holding an event or conference. It is an optional plan that calculates the environmental value of the energy used as renewable energy, and purchases "Green Power Certificates" using a package that includes the procurement of that amount of renewable energy and post-verification.

It is possible to announce in advance that your event or conference is a sustainable one that uses renewable energy. (After you apply, you can post this information on the event page or release it.)

Event organizers will be provided with a "Green Power Certificate" as proof that renewable energy was used.

The "Green Power Certificate" can be posted on the organizer's website as a report of their efforts toward the SDGs and environmental conservation, and can be used for IR and PR activities.

How to make renewable energy
Electricity from renewable energy sources always has two values: "electrical value" and "environmental value*."
The "Green Power Certificate System" is a mechanism for documenting and circulating this environmental value.
By purchasing environmental value from other companies, it is possible to replace electricity with equivalent renewable energy that does not emit CO2.

Environmental value refers to added value other than electrical energy that is brought about by the use of renewable energy.
About Green Power Certificates
The "Green Power Certificate System" is a system certified by the Japan Quality Assurance Organization, a general incorporated foundation.
The costs of purchasing "Green Power Certificates" will be used to maintain and expand renewable energy power generation facilities.
In addition, even if you do not have any power generation facilities, by obtaining this certificate you are contributing to the spread of renewable energy equivalent to the amount of electricity (kWh) stated on the certificate and are considered to have used green electricity.
