About the name of Japanese Cuisine SAKURAGAOKA

The name comes from "Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya Ward" where the hotel is located. The Japanese cuisine is written as "Japanese Cuisine" in both English and French, expressing the world-famous Japanese food culture. It is our hope that the restaurant will spread culture from Shibuya to the world.

    From Head Chef Takashi Tsuruta

"I discovered the joy of cooking while helping my family in the kitchen, and the joy I felt when people told me my food was delicious led me to a career as a chef. I toured famous restaurants in Shiga, Ishikawa, and other places before returning to Tokyo to continue my training, and now I am honored to be entrusted with the Japanese restaurant at CERULEAN TOWER TOKYU HOTEL.
Shibuya is a trendsetting area in Japan and around the world. We feel it is extremely meaningful to inherit the traditions of Japanese cuisine built by our predecessors here, refine them, and deliver them to our customers.
We are committed to putting our spirit of hospitality into our seasonal dishes and making our customers happy.
We look forward to welcoming you all to our store.”
