This work was created by Masuno Shunmyo, a Zen monk and world-renowned garden designer.

The lobby lounge "ZABOU" was designed as a space where you can regain the rich sensitivity and flexible mind that wells up when you sit quietly and face the garden in peace. The stones flow into the lounge like waves lapping on the shore, culminating in a stone "flower vase" in the center of the lobby. A passion has been poured into enhancing the relationship between the exterior and interior spaces, a characteristic of Japanese spatial design, and enriching the intermediate space between them.

Escape from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya and enjoy a relaxing, elegant moment that will cleanse your soul.

In the lounge, overlooking the "Kanza-tei" garden, which shows different expressions with each season, you can enjoy more than 30 types of drinks, including black tea, Chinese tea, and coffee, all made with carefully selected tea leaves, brewing temperature, and brewing method. We also offer afternoon tea sets incorporating seasonal ingredients, as well as light meals such as cakes and sandwiches produced by our chef patissier. Please enjoy a blissful time away from your daily routine.

From over 300 varieties of black tea, we extract tea leaves that have very different characteristics from each region, such as soil, altitude, temperature, and precipitation, and always select around 10 brands with particularly rich aroma and flavor.
We also offer a wide variety of Chinese teas, from teas from different regions and with different degrees of fermentation, ranging from Dongding Oolong tea, which is similar to green tea, to Keemun black tea, which is similar to black tea. All drinks, including coffee, are carefully prepared with attention to the brewing temperature and method.

We also offer five types of sugar to add to your tea and coffee. Please enjoy pairing it with your drink.
