This ski resort was the site of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics and is the central location of HAKUBA VALLEY. With an elevation difference of over 1,000m from the summit, it offers some of the best powder snow in the country. Another major attraction is the long cruising distance of 8,000m. The magnificent slopes, which can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers, are so extensive that it is impossible to ski them all in one day. You can also enjoy a wide variety of international cuisine at the cafes and restaurants scattered throughout the resort.

The summit has a wide, gentle slope, so even beginners can enjoy a gondola ride. There are slopes for various levels, a snow park, and cross-country courses, making it an all-round snow field with plenty of elements for enjoying winter sports. The spectacular cafe and terrace at "HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR," which opened in 2018, is very popular not only with skiers, but also as a tourist destination for sightseeing with spectacular winter views.

The two big slopes share the same lift ticket! You can freely move between the two areas at the summit, where the snow quality and the views of the Northern Alps are spectacular.
Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park is a very popular snow park with a variety of items of different sizes, including full-scale half-pipes and kickers. Able Hakuba Goryu has a large lower area with gentle slopes that is recommended for beginners, kids, and families, and has the appeal of being able to ski on the unique slopes of each slope with a common ticket.
