The trekking course on the Happo Ridge begins at Happoike Sanso, the end point of the Happo Alpine Line. It takes about 2.5 to 3 hours round trip from the hut to Happoike. It will take time to walk while admiring the scenery and flowers, so please allow yourself plenty of time. There are many boardwalks and it is relatively easy to walk, but since it is on top of a mountain, please wear sneakers, hiking boots, pants that dry easily, and don't forget to bring rain gear. You can see the pretty alpine plants by the roadside and, on a good day, the dynamic Northern Alps.

Tsugaike Nature Park is located at an altitude of about 1,900m, which can be reached by gondola and ropeway. It is home to one of the largest high-altitude wetlands in Japan, and has a 5.5km promenade. You can enjoy the pretty alpine plants and the Hakuba mountain range, and there are boardwalks and barrier-free sections, so you can walk however you like, from courses recommended for small children and the elderly, to a full course around the park.

Why not try it at Lake Aoki, which looks adorable and heart-shaped when viewed from above?
There are also kayaks that are less likely to sink.

SUP is popular because it is easy to enjoy, so why not try it in Hakuba, which has clear water? You might not be able to return to reality once you stand on the beautiful lake surrounded by greenery.

Hakuba is a great place to enjoy leisurely cycling while admiring the majestic mountains. If that's not enough for you, you can also enjoy downhill racing at Iwatake Mountain Park, which is so authentic that it even hosts competitions.

Located in Chubu Sangaku National Park, Tsugaike Ropeway is an adventure facility located just off the gondola at the intermediate station. It is full of innovative activities that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. The names of the activities are also very interesting, such as the "Kogi Dasu" aerial stroll on a bicycle and the "Tobidas" in the sky.

The ride will take you to a world 30 meters above the ground with a floating sensation unlike any other. The spectacular views of the Northern Alps and the ski jump used in the Nagano Olympics are breathtaking.

At Lake Aoki, about a 15-minute drive from the hotel, you can go canoeing at night to see the fireflies.
Although it is not well known because it is almost impossible to see them from land, Lake Aoki is a treasure trove of fireflies. Please enjoy the fantastical dance of the fireflies on the tranquil Lake Aoki.

Gondolas will be operating at night on limited dates at two locations, Hakuba Happo-one and Hakuba Goryu.
