Please be aware that the route shown by the car navigation system is narrow.

If you choose the shortest route on your car navigation system, you will be taken along a very narrow mountain road. Please be careful!
The roads are rough and in some places it may be difficult to pass oncoming vehicles.

■ Routes to be aware of
From Shimoda Station, head towards Minamiizu, go straight at the "Shimoda 5-chome" intersection, go through two tunnels, and turn left past the convenience store (LAWSON) on your left.

This is the shortest route to Hotel Sakashita, but it is not recommended to take this bus at night.

■Hotel recommended route 1 (via Shimoda city)
1. Turn left at the Nakajimabashi intersection next to Tokyu Store and head towards Ryosenji Temple.
2. Turn left at the end of the road where the Ryosenji parking lot is, head towards the aquarium, and turn right at the Y-shaped intersection.
3. Turn right in front of Shimoda Kaihin Hotel and head out onto Oura Beach, where you will see the entrance to SHIMODA TOKYU HOTEL directly ahead.

■Hotel recommended route #2 (via Nabetahama Beach)
1. From Shimoda Station, head towards Minamiizu. Go straight at the "Shimoda 5-chome" intersection and go through three tunnels.
*Please continue straight past the Lawson on the way.
2. Turn left at the sign for "University of Tsukuba Shimoda Experimental Center"
3. Follow the road along Nabetahama Beach and you will see the entrance to SHIMODA TOKYU HOTEL.

Especially for large vehicles, we recommend Route 2 (via Nabetahama Beach).

Please drive safely.

The road past Shimoda Medical Center, turning next to Lawson, is narrow and dangerous. If you are coming from Shimoda Station, please be careful not to turn left here.

If you are coming from Shimoda Station, pass in front of Lawson, go through the tunnel, and turn left at the sign for Tsukuba University and SHIMODA TOKYU HOTEL.
